Hello Beauties!
How are you all? I want to cover a very important subject. That subject is brush hygiene! I know that it is easy to slack on the up keep of brushes because we all just want to apply our make up, grab our breakfast and get out the door. It is so incredibly important though, that you make sure you pencil in on your calendars to clean your brushes.
If I haven't convinced you yet let me give you some not so fun facts on what can happen if you don't clean your brushes.
When you use your brushes, bits of makeup, oil, dirt, and bacteria can get stuck in those little pesky bristles and cause break outs, sensitive skin, and clogged pores. Not to mention leaving different colors on your shadow brushes can really change your eye look! So here we go...
You will need:
Brushes (Of Course)
A Bowl
Baby Soap/Shampoo (I use the Target Brand)
A Towel

Step Two:
Swirl your brush in luke warm water with a pump of baby shampoo, allowing the brush to bath while the makeup soaks out. Don't be alarmed if the water turns brown, it's makeup. Feel free to rinse and re-fill the bowl when needed.

Step Three:
Lie your brushes flat down on a towel to dry. You can dry off the brush and reshape the bristles as you go and then give it time to fully dry.
